UG Research Day - Fall 2014
UG Research Day - Fall 2015
Reptile Habitat Controller Team. The project will incorporate timers, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, heating pads and provide a single control system with one micro-controller. The area of the habitat dictates the selection of microcontrollers.
UG Research Day Project - Sober Wheel
Sober Wheel will be a vehicle BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) interlock that utilizes an optical sensor which will measure the absorbance of light in the Near IR(NIR) spectrum from the driver's fingers. In the NIR spectrum, ethanol is detected without any interference by skin pigmentation.
The semi-annual Undergraduate Research Symposium recognizes and honors the senior design projects. It takes place at the end of the fall and spring semesters every year. A panel of faculty, industry experts, lab managers and peers will observe the presentations and give awards for the best research work.
